Meet My Pawprints & Horseshoes
It all started about 5 years ago, I got my first pet and since then adopted all of the ones I have now. They all have their own stories on how they came into my life, some where given to me from friends/family, others were posted free on fb, and even adopted out of a pet facility. I love all my pets and they are my family. I currently have 8 pets that absolutely adore, I have 4 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses. My dogs names are Maverick, Ruger, Remy and Gigi, my cats names are Crook and Jazmine, and last but not least my horses names are Mattie and Dakota. I'll start off with my dogs. Maverick is the first dog I owned that was mine personally. Mavrick is a queenland heeler mix, he's smaller than usual and if you pet him one time; you have a best friend for life. The 2nd dog I have is Ruger, he looks like a boarder collie mixed with a weenie dog; he has posted on fb as a "free to good home" he was part of a litter of 6 I believe. He was located in Lemoore and I was living in Fresno at the time so we drove over there to pick him up, the poor pup was infested in flees and he was scared. He came home with us and got 3 baths that night and a hair cut. A few years later we got Gigi, she was given to me by a family member. Gigi is a german shepard and quite the escape artist and has worried me quite a few times. I'm the 3rd family she has lived with, she will have a perminate home with me. The last dog I got was Remy, he looks like full blooded rednose pitbull. I often think about what would have become of this sweet dog had he ended up with the wrong family. He is very playful and he's still a puppy. My 2 cats could pass for twins! I had crook first, I loved him so much so thats why I adopted Jazmine because she looked exactly like him. Crook is a lazy, fat, happy, loving and smart cat. He was in a litter of 5 and as soon as I seen him I knew I had to have him. He knows how to sit and stand up for treats. Jazmine was adopted out of a facility. She is very vocal, loving, affectionate, sweet, well mannared and very playful. I'll now talk about my horses. I've had Mattie for about a year now, she is 25 years old and she is a registered paint horse. She has the bluest eyes you would have ever seen. She is a sweet, tame, loving and patient horse. I am honestly lucky that I got to have her. Dakota is my other horse, she looks like a paint horse but isn't registered as one. She has more brown on her than white. She was given to me and is a sweet mare that has been through a lot. She is timid but very loving. In Order: Maverick, Ruger, Remy, Gigi, Crook, Jazmine, Mattie and Dakota
